DR. KEN MILNE
MD, MSc, CCFP-EM, FCFP, FRRMS. Dr. Milne is a physician at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada. He has been doing medical research for 40 years, publishing on a variety of topics. He has worked clinically for 28 years and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Division of Emergency Medicine) and the Department of Family Medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine and DenNstry.
He has taught evidence-based medicine, clinical epidemiology, critical appraisal and biostaNsNcs at Western University in London, Ontario. He is the creator of the knowledge translation project, The Skeptics’ Guide to Emergency Medicine (TheSGEM). Dr. Milne is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at the Ivey School of Business.
Dr. Milne is a senior editor of Academic Emergency Medicine. He is on the faculty of the Center for Medical Education and EMRAP. Dr. Milne participates in medical malpractice reviews and holds a patent on a pediatric resuscitaNon device. Dr. Milne is our international expert in evidence-based medicine and critical thinking in emergencies.
